Federal Pay Freeze - Don't Let them Extend it for Another Year
Mar 12, 2012 (19:22:28)
IMPORTANT: This information should not be downloaded using government equipment, read during duty time or sent to others using government equipment, because it suggests action to be taken in support or against legislation. Do not use your government email address, government address or government phone in contacting your Member of Congress or filing out this petition.
Brothers and Sisters,
I am sorry to have to tell you this, but a vote to freeze your pay for an additional year will be voted on tomorrow! Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) has filed amendment #1826 to the Surface Transportation bill, which would implement energy drilling projects by extending the current two-year federal employee pay freeze by an additional year.
A vote on this amendment will occur Tuesday. Please contact your Senators to tell them to vote NO on the Roberts’ amendment #1826. Click here to send an email to your Senators.
If Senators do not hear from you, they will assume that you are willing to accept this third year of the freeze. We have to fight back immediately.
If you cannot reach your Senators’ offices today, please call first thing on Tuesday morning. Make sure they understand where you work – and the type of work you do. Our enemies believe that federal employees are faceless bureaucrats. Make them put a face to who there are hurting; not only is it you, but it’s also the millions of Americans we help and serve every day.
In solidarity,
Beth Moten

Electronic Official Personnel Folders
Oct 18, 2010 (08:07:00)
Important information!!
Attached is the instructions on how to access your Electronic OPF. Our MOA is clear that you can review your 201 paper file any time before it is shipped to out-of-state storage. You can go review you file and nothing prevents you from using the copy machine to make copies. (You may need to bring your own paper) Once your file is shipped away, your rights evaporate. If you find a discrepancy you will then have to wait for the "scanned copy" CD of your file. If you have a dispute, dispute, management has to "request" verification. It's hardly the same thing, and could take FOREVER!! If you have any questions, please contact the Union office at (801) 777-3257 or stop by bldg. 555.
