Friday 28 Apr 2023
Brothers & Sisters,
Our Brother Franklin, President of APWU Local 6, has reached out to the Utah AFL-CIO asking for our support and help this
Friday, April 28th
(Workers Memorial Day)
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the
US post office located at:
1760 2100 S,
Salt Lake City, UT 84199
(2100 S and Redwood Rd, across from Dees Restaurant)
Our Brothers and Sisters will be holding a protest rally on the public sidewalk in front of the Post Office.
Their signs will be advocating for:
“Respect in the Workplace”
“Safer Workplace”
and stickers advocating to
“Stop Workplace Harassment”.
They say they are sick and tired of abusive supervisors, short staffing, and “Safety Last”
Our Brother Franklin is asking for as many affiliate union members as possible to please come out and join with the American Postal Workers Union Local 6 as they rally in protest of unfair and unsafe working conditions at the post office.
In Solidarity,
AFGE Local 1592
